The Seychelles Tourism Board Office in Dubai held its Annual Iftar Event last 23rd June 2016 at the Al Masa Ballroom II of H-Hotel. The event, having 93 attendees from different travel agencies and media companies testified the strong ties the board has with the trade and media partners also it was an opportune time to network and communicate with them and discuss how we can better work together in promoting the Seychelles Islands to the region. Seychelles added another award to its collection when it won the ‘Most Scenic Holiday’ award at the International Travel Expo (ITE) recently from U-magazine in collaboration with ITE. The destination won the award after receiving more votes. Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture this morning heard from Patrick Victor and Emmanuel D'Offay on their proposal for a new private sector foundation that will be called the "Patrick Victor Artistic Foundation" which is set to be launched on the 15th July. Beachcomber Hotels has announced the appointment of Youssef Sabri as their new General Manager of the Sainte Anne Island Resort in Seychelles. Youssef Sabri has taken up his position effective 20 June 2016. Mr Youssef Sabri who is from Morocco and aged 46 is married and has two children.
