Sybille Cardon, the Chairperson of the Seychelles Hospitality and Tourism Association (SHTA) this week met with Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture in the presence of Anne Lafortune, his PS for Tourism at their ESPACE Building Offices. Students graduating from the Seychelles Tourism Academy (STA) will now be able to work on the tankers of the Seychelles Petroleum Company Limited (Seypec) as cooks and stewards. This is now possible thanks to a memorandum of understanding signed between the STA and Seypec. The Magic Circus of Samoa has confirmed that they will be returning to Seychelles in February 2016. In a confirmation received from Bruno Loyale the CEO and President of The Magic Circus of Samoa it was stated that "the shipping company has agreed to change the destination of our containers to Singapore where CMA will pick them up as a transshipment and bring them on to the Seychelles. I am awaiting an actual date but it would be quite safe to say that we can open the circus in Port Victoria on the 18 of February for sure".
