Minister of Tourism & Culture of Seychelles, Alain St.Ange had the honour last week to be appointed as Senior Advisor of Small Islands Eco-Marine Tourism Development for Nias Islands of Indonesia in the Indian Ocean. The Ministry of Tourism and Culture held its end of year general meeting last Friday, whereby words of thanks were echoed to all staff members for their devotion and hard work throughout this year. David Joubert, at one time the strong man of Praslin Island politics in the Seychelles and first Tourism Minister has died following a long illness. Mr David Joubert was appointed Tourism Minister 1n 1975 and he retained that portfolio after Independence in 1976.
